The official megadate day 2012 was intense. We started off with breakfast at the Greenroom Cafe having pancakes, hash brown and a pot of chai. We had cut the hash brown into halves but as Eli was talking, I got distracted and went into some kind of a hashout and ended up eating most of it myself. As soon as I realised I was so shocked at myself I couldn’t even tell Eli, then he casually looked down at the plate and saw what little was left and I just burst out with apologies but he just laughed at me and stole some of my half of the pancakes. Then we had a lovely drive to Hahndorf where we tasted honey, bought fudge and had a fantastic lunch. On the way out we stopped by Beerenberg and went strawberry picking. There were so many amazing strawberries! They were filming a commercial or something while we were there so we ended up being involved in that too. Next on our stop was Bowling which I absolute suck at without bumpers (super embarrassing). I did manage to get one strike though. Eli got a lot more. I redeemed myself in air hockey, an incredibly tight game which Eli won by one point (just). We also cashed in our tokens for a very ‘beautiful’ picture frame to house out newly taken arcade photos. Then to the movies to see the latest Woody Allen flick! =] Finally at home again and we enjoyed some pasta bake and sci-fi in bed! Awesome, awesome day. =]
